Eric Tetuan began Platinum Auto Body in 1998 at a small shop at the corner of 21st & French Street. Eric had worked in the auto body industry for his entire career, and his standards of excellent repairs created quite a reputation with customers. Several customers encouraged Eric to open his own shop, and in 1998 he opened the doors. The business grew, faster than expected, as customers recommended the shop to friends and family. In less than two years, he had outgrown the small shop. 

In 2000, he learned about a much larger building at 521 East 18th Street that would accommodate his growing business. This building was many times larger than the first building, and would allow him to store customers' vehicles indoors while he was working on them. At the time that he moved into the new location, there were two other businesses renting space there. Within a couple of years, Platinum Auto Body grew to the point that he took over the entire facility.

Platinum Auto Body continues to grow its base of satisfied customers. Platinum is still a small collision shop, and Eric still works, hands-on, alongside his skilled technicians. Customers know that each and every vehicle repair must meet Eric's high standards before it's released, so they know that it will be repaired right, the first time.
